Utilities provide electricity, gas, water, and sewage systems. In this section, we look at electric and natural gas utilities.*

The first visualization focuses on electric utilities in the Northwest, showing the service areas of utilities by different ownership types. The following two visualizations show the energy resources used (fuel mix) and the emissions produced by each electric utility in Oregon and Washington. The final visualization in this section shows natural gas utility service areas in Oregon and Washington.

*Note: Due to availability of data, only the first visualization in this section includes data for all Northwest states. The remaining three include data for Oregon and Washington. We aim to present future utility visualizations for all four Northwest states as we obtain the data.
